Apple's latest macOS Tahoe 26 update is confirmed to be the final macOS version to support Intel-powered Macs. The Intel-based Macs will get security updates for a few more years, but will no longer get any major software updates post macOS 26. Mac computers with Apple's chips will get macOS 27 and beyond starting next year.
